Great coffee
starts with great people

We're looking for people who care deeply about quality, hospitality and details.

Or simply people willing to learn.

Open positions

We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about specialty coffee and the people they serve. You'll pull espresso on professional equipment, dial in single origins, and make each drink with intention. No prior experience required — we'll teach the craft to anyone willing to learn.

  • A real love for hospitality
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn the espresso side of the craft
  • Reliable schedule, weekends included

A clean kitchen is the foundation of everything else we do. You'll keep dishware, glassware, and equipment spotless and flowing through the line so the team can focus on guests. The role moves fast, but the standards are simple: be steady, be thorough, be kind.

  • Stamina and a steady pace
  • Care for cleanliness and order
  • Team-first attitude
  • Reliable schedule, weekends included

Three Sixteen Cafe is looking for an energetic Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This is an entry/mid-level position — professional kitchen experience is highly preferred, but not required for the right candidate.

You'll show up before the cafe opens and get the kitchen ready to serve, then keep the line moving once orders start coming in. Be ready to move: prepping for opening is fast-paced and can get stressful. During season, the kitchen gets downright crazy — it does not forgive lack of attention or laziness. If you thrive under pressure and take pride in keeping up, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

- Arrive before opening to prep your station and get the kitchen service-ready
- Cook several items at the same time — managing multiple tickets and cook times in parallel is a core part of this job
- Cook and plate menu items to our recipes and presentation standards
- Work comfortably and safely next to a hot stove throughout your shift
- Maintain and clean cooking equipment so it's always in working order
- Keep your workstation clean, organized, and up to food-safety standards
- Communicate with the team about inventory and product needs

What We're Looking For

- Energetic and quick on your feet — you can juggle multiple orders and prep tasks without dropping the ball
- Multitasking is a must — you'll routinely be cooking several items at once, and each one has to come out right; if juggling a full flat-top stresses you out, this isn't the role
- Fast learner — we're looking to get the right person confidently running their shift as soon as possible
- Reliability — opening prep sets the tone for the whole day, and the team is counting on you to be there
- Comfortable starting before opening and working next to a hot stove
- Attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Must Have

- Ability to freely communicate in English
- Basic English reading and writing skills
- Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to Have (Not Required)

- Prior kitchen or food-service experience
- Experience cleaning and maintaining commercial cooking equipment

Schedule & Requirements

- Weekly shift rotation with other team members
- Must be available to work at least 2 weekends per month, including Sundays
- Food handler's certification preferred but not required to apply — must be obtained within the first 30 days of hire

What We Offer

- $18–$25/hr depending on experience
- Consistent part-time hours (25–30/week) on a predictable rotation
- Hands-on training — learn real kitchen skills on the job
- A small, supportive team where your work is visible and appreciated every single day
